Your ability to get an event permit approved depends on your permit partner. The Office of the Mayor in NYC approves permits largely based on trust won from long term existing relationships. They are reluctant to approve big productions to companies they do now professionally know.
Your brand and your celebrity are not "exciting" when they need to keep the streets safe and traffic moving for emergency vehicles. The City wants a name on the permit from someone trusted who will not break the rules to get press and then leave the city once the media is gone. We are not the only company that can get your crazy idea approved but the list of companies is very small.

Pepsi Co is headquartered here and employs 40,000+ people in NY State. Top executives and lobbyists try to make it happen for over a year. The answer they received was; "if the Mayor's mother asked, the answer would still be no." Then they call Productions NYC.
The Pepsi Co CEO spent a week doing major media promoting their campaign that was all built around renaming Madison Avenue in a true Mad Men style. What can we do for you? ​​
